Short Description
This 5-day summer school is designed for students who wish to deepen their understanding of wind tunnel testing for wind energy and urban flows. The program delves into the intricacies of wind tunnel experimentation, offering a comprehensive exploration of techniques, instrumentation, and analysis methods utilized in the study of wind behavior. Participants will gain invaluable hands-on experience in conducting experiments focused on wind energy systems and urban airflow patterns. The curriculum includes a blend of theoretical insights and practical applications, enabling students to grasp the complexities of wind flow interactions within urban settings. Through interactive workshops, lectures by world leading experts, and a site visit to a local wind farm, attendees will acquire a robust skill set essential for advancing research in the domains of wind energy and urban planning.
